Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using the Nett app or website ("Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. Nett is operated by its sole developer ("we", "us").

2. The Service

Nett is a mobile app that combines trading card scanning with personal finance tracking. The Service includes AI-powered card identification, market price lookups, portfolio tracking, and related features. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

3. Accounts

Some features require a Google or email account via Firebase Authentication. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. One account per person.

4. Free & Pro Plans

Free: 30 scan credits per month (reset on the 1st), finance tracking, portfolio export. Single-device daily backup.
Pro ($5.99/month): Unlimited scans, 100 Grail Draw entries per month, no ads, real-time multi-device sync.

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly through the Google Play Store. You can cancel anytime from your Google Play subscription settings. No refunds for partial months.

5. Credits

1 credit = 1 card scan. Free users receive 30 credits monthly. Additional credits can be earned by watching ads (5 credits per ad, up to 10 ads per day). Credits do not roll over between months. Nett Edge access costs 5 credits for 24 hours. Finance tracking and portfolio export are always free.

6. Grail Draw

The Grail Draw is a prize draw funded by a portion of ad revenue. Key rules:

One free entry per week is available without any purchase or ad viewing (no-purchase-necessary).
Additional entries are earned by watching ads (1 entry per ad watched).
Nett reserves the right to change the percentage of ad revenue allocated to the prize pool at any time.
The prize pool target amount and prize selection are at Nett's sole discretion.
Draws occur when the prize pool reaches its target — not on a fixed schedule.
Prizes are sourced from eBay and shipped directly to the winner.
Winners are selected randomly and announced in the app.
Nett may modify or discontinue the Grail Draw at any time.
Must be 18+ to enter. One account per person; duplicate accounts are disqualified.

7. Price Data & Accuracy

Card prices are sourced from TCGPlayer (via TCGCSV) and PriceCharting. eBay listings are displayed in real time. All prices are indicative only — we do not guarantee their accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Nett is not a marketplace and does not buy, sell, or broker cards. Price data should not be treated as financial advice.

8. eBay Affiliate

Nett participates in the eBay Partner Network. When you click through to eBay listings within the app, Nett may earn a commission from qualifying purchases. This does not affect the price you pay.

9. AI Scanner

The card scanner uses AI (OCR + visual matching) to identify cards. While we strive for accuracy, misidentifications can occur — especially for cards with similar art, promo variants, or damaged/worn cards. Always verify the matched card before relying on the price shown.

10. Your Content & Data

You retain ownership of any data you input (portfolio entries, card collections, financial data). We do not claim any rights over your personal data. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers against the Service.
Attempt to circumvent credit limits, rate limits, or the Pro paywall.
Create multiple accounts to gain additional free credits or Grail Draw entries.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app.
Use the Service for any illegal purpose.

12. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any losses arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to: inaccurate card identification, incorrect pricing data, trading decisions made based on information from the app, or data loss. Our total liability is limited to the fees you've paid us in the past 12 months.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email.
